While that could be attributed to its beautiful craftsmanship and the luxurious comfort it offers, we have a feeling it may also have something to do with the magical quality of watching a bookcase slide apart to reveal a hidden bed!
Our wallbeds with attached bookshelves are as convenient as they are cool. There’s no need to remove your books and decor before the furniture’s transformation, because all items on the shelves remain upright as they move to reveal a concealed bed that pulls down from the wall. This particular model is available only in a queen size, but is perfect for a variety of uses. Whether you have a child who loves to read, a student who needs to study, a classic literature collection to showcase in your home office, or you simply enjoy sitting down with a good book, the Library model is versatile enough to meet any need!
Library Wallbed Customization
By storing the hidden bed against the wall behind the bookcases, this innovative piece of furniture truly maximizes floor space while at the same time providing ample storage. Sheets and blankets can be left on the bed as it’s folded up and put away, so it is always ready for use without hassle. If you have certain items you’d prefer to conceal rather than display, the unit can also be built with cabinet doors covering shelving so as to minimize clutter while offering useful storage spaces. A wardrobe addition can also be attached to this model so that you have extra room to keep clothing or linens for when the room functions as a guest room.
Adding lighting and customizing the finish to match your style will add a personal touch to your Library wallbed. Spotlights can be added to highlight artwork or special books, and you can select from two different wood types, either alder or oak with each type coming in multiple color options. Either version can be ordered in white, black, slate, midnight, or weathered gray. The alder is also available in pecan, hazelnut, antique cherry, and mocha, while the oak comes in coffee, light, or cherry.
