New Hidden Bed Couch Styles that Maximize Space
When you’re short on space in your home, Rocklin Wallbeds “n” More has solutions for any size space! With our new product line from the Luonto brand wall beds, we have multiple modern new solutions for adding a Murphy bed to any room in your house. Whether you’re looking for something to add vertical sleeping space rather than horizontal, a Murphy bed that blends seamlessly into your living room or den, or something a little more narrow to squeeze into those extra tight spaces, we can make it happen!
Take a look at our three new state-of-the-art wall bed designs for small spaces and then come into our showroom to see them for yourself.
#1. Choose from New Hidden Bed Couch Styles
The most popular model of our new space saving room furniture line was designed with condo and apartment living in mind. It is a Murphy sleeper couch that also contains a chaise lounge with storage capacity to add even more functionality to your living room.
It has a minimal width, taking up only 81 inches, but still manages to conceal an extra long, full bed which measures 55 x 80“. If you have an exceptionally small room, this is a great opportunity to maximize its usable space.
If you need something even more narrow, you can choose the narrow space sofa sleeper model instead. This works fantastic for narrow and long spaces or where a hallway or walkway can’t be restricted by a folding wall bed. This model is called the Easy Deluxe, and it maintains the 55 inch wide full-size bed that folds up to either an 16 or 18 inch size depending on your model choice. Like the regular Murphy bed couch, it has the hidden perk of storage underneath the seat so that your room can stay looking spic and span.
Space saving loveseat chases are also another option when trying to maximize both style and space in a small room. These are lighter and less bulky than traditional hide-a-beds and allow guests to relax comfortably while not taking over the entire room. We offer two new lines of loveseat chases, including the Delta and the Noah, which have height, adjustable comfort, a full extra long bed that can also serve as a triple chaise lounge, a reversible storage chest, and a reversible storage chaise.
#2. Choose a Chair Instead!
Another innovative, new design that we are carrying is the chair sleeper from Luonto. The chair sleeper opens outward into a cot bed so that you sleep perpendicular rather than parallel to the wall, and the beds measure approximately 30 inches wide by 80 inches long which is the right amount of space for just one guest. If you only have one person stay at your house at a time and you have a very small space, this is a great way to turn the living room into a guest room in the blink of an eye.
#3. Pick A Murphy Bunk Bed to Increase Vertical Space
If you have a tiny or unusually shaped room, it is often particularly challenging to accommodate any kind of Murphy bed that pulls out from the wall. If you really have no option to open a sleeper sofa or pull a Murphy bed out from the wall, taking advantage of your vertical space can be a great alternative.
Our bunk bed model, called Elevate, combines maximum safety and high style and is currently the only bunk bed Murphy sleeper in North America to have a safety certification. It includes a sophisticated, three stage locking system to maintain safety at all times along with a secret storage compartment for organization, and the ability to hold up to 220 pounds per bed.
